Holy Week and Easter
Holy week is the week when we remember the events that led up to the death of Jesus on Good Friday and anticipate the good news of his resurrection on Easter Sunday. These events are at the heart of our Faith and lead us to the place where we can sing 'When I survey the wondrous cross.' During this week there are events for everyone, both adults and children, times of reflection, walking in the open air, foot washing, a walk of witness through the centre of the town, a film evening, fasting and a breakfast when we remember that it was early in the morning when Jesus first appeared to his disciples after God raised him from death.
